GIFFT dances with the Samurai!

GIFFT dances with the Samurai!

From August 20-23, the GIFFT Project took center stage at the prestigious 10th International Conference on Engineering for Waste and Biomass Valorisation at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. Our project coordinator presented exciting early results from the Horizon Europe GIFFT initiative, showcasing innovative technologies for sustainable, hybrid, and biofuel-flexible heat generation. These advancements are set to revolutionize industrial glass production through cutting-edge plasma combustion and gasification systems.
Beyond the inspiring scientific discussions, attendees were treated to a captivating performance by the DATE Bushotai Welcome Squad, bringing the history of Japan's feudal era to life in true samurai spirit.
